My approach to portraiture is rooted in my years as a multimedia journalist. In the field, I learned that a portrait is not just about a person’s appearance, but about the history written in their expression and the environment they inhabit.

I move away from the artifice of the studio to capture subjects in their own spaces or in the evocative light of the natural world. My goal is to create an image that feels like a quiet conversation—unobtrusive, honest, and cinematically framed.
